The Refound America Project (“ReAmPro”) seeks to complete America’s unfinished business: to make the founding promise of “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” a reality for all Americans.

ReAmPro is a new 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that pursues this goal through four strategies:

  • Community-based – Solutions don’t lie in big government or the rugged individual but in community – individuals working together at the grassroots to solve problems in proactive and innovative ways;
  • Compassion-based – Compassion is non-partisan. Helping people to make a difference in the lives of others, especially those most in need, lies at the heart of ReAmPro;
  • Evidenced-based – ReAmPro will be data-driven, focusing on researching and documenting evidence-based best practices, and deploying such paradigms in strategic ways;
  • Unity-based – Unity is based on the notion that there is a distinctly American way of societal problem solving, which emphasizes what brings us together as Americans instead of those things that separate ReAmPro will design and support projects that individual and groups of different viewpoints and cultures can work together towards shared objectives.

ReAmPro will combat the division and animosity predominant in American society by crafting messages – through speeches, workshops, lectures, media interviews, and panel discussions – to advance dialogue among grievance groups and across societal sectors in ways to enrich and uplift the public discourse.

ReAmPro will also research and project U.S. best practices that represent 21st century expressions of the founding principles of equality and justice for all. This focus on the positive aspects of American history and culture will overshadow the victimization blame-gaming and highlight the great promise of America and collaborative efforts needed to decisively fulfill it.

To sum, the four ReAmPro themes – community-based organizations implementing compassion-based programming using evidence-based strategies towards unity-based outcomes – will revive the the commitment among Americans to live out the high calling that was proclaimed by the Founders and will bring fulfillment to so many deferred American Dreams.
